My teacher had explained to us how the prefrontal cortex (the part of the brain responsible for decision making) isn’t fully developed until you are 25. This causes impulsive behavior. This can cause people to do the first thing that pops into their head, no matter what the consequences. Some people can be affected by an impulse. You can be called names, be cyber-bullied, or even be hurt.

  • Draw.
  • Build with Legos.
  • Write an angry letter and then shred it.
  • Copy and paste your social media page into a word document and type angry messages or comments back in the document.
  • Read a book.
  • Watch a lightning storm.
  • Watch fish swim around.
  • Listen to music.
  • Listen to a radio show.
  • Solve riddles.
